Exploring the Chakras:
A Yoga and Sound Workshop

Join Sarah for a two-hour workshop dedicated to exploring the seven chakras, or energetic zones of the body. Each chakra connects to certain nerve bundles and organs in your body, and each chakra gives and receives energy, and helps to move prana, or life force, through the body.
Chakra energy can become stuck or blocked through emotional wounding or trauma. In this workshop, we’ll familiarize ourselves with the energetic qualities of each chakra and learn how to balance them through movement, breath, sound, and other creative forms of expression and activation. We’ll enjoy a slow flow to explore and open the chakras, a group discussion around creative ways to work with the chakras, and a balancing sound bath to close our time.
Workshop Format
1. Welcome (10 minutes)
Introductions, your “why” for attending this workshop
2. Chakra Flow (40 minutes)
A flow to embody each energetic center in our bodies
3. Chakra Discussion (30 minutes)
Explanation and creative exploration of each chakra using our chakra workbooks
4. Chakra Meditation and Sound Bath (30 minutes)
Guided visualization meditation and sound bath to further explore each chakra
5. Closing (10 minutes)
